Abstract

The proliferation of modern mobile applications and online services has been
driven by the objective of encouraging potential customers to make online purchases. However,
the potential impact of applications that are specifically oriented towards the tourism sector on the
wider tourism market and the sectors that are closely related to it has not been subjected to
sufficient academic scrutiny. Consequently, there is a clear need for further research in this area.
This scientific article analyses the development of the Internet on a global scale and the scope of
the need for the creation of mobile applications for the promotion of tourism services. It also
studies the advanced foreign experience in this regard. The authors put forward specific proposals
for the development of the InclUZ mobile application and drew conclusions within the context of
the topic under discussion
