CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES TO THE STRATEGY OF INCREASING THE WELLBEING OF THE POPULATION IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article reveals the features, essence and significance of strategic planning
in general, in particular, to improve the welfare of the population. An analysis of foreign and
domestic experience in developing strategic long-term actions and sustainable development is
carried out. A comparative assessment of the developed and implemented strategies for the
development of Uzbekistan, through the adoption of established goals and objectives for
improving the welfare of the population, is given.
The fundamental approaches to the development of a long-term strategy and the need for a separate
consideration of potential risks and threats affecting the standard of living of the population are
substantiated. The conceptual foundations of a long-term strategy for improving the well-being of
the population of Uzbekistan are proposed, including the following priorities: quality of society,
quality of the population, quality of labor potential, quality of social infrastructure, quality of the
environment, quality of safety, quality of social resettlement.
The article is intended for scientists, specialists, doctoral students, heads of state and local
authorities dealing with issues of ensuring the well-being of the population of the country and its
regions.
