Abstract

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is an important factor in stimulating economic growth in developing countries. As is known, there is varying empirical evidence on the magnitude of the benefits of foreign direct investment (FDI) for the economies of developing countries. The results of theoretical and practical research in the field of analysis of foreign direct investment will
allow us to more deeply understand the economic mechanism of investor behavior in the economy at both the micro and macro levels, and discover new areas of research in economic theory. This article is devoted to theoretical aspects, analysis of current trends and trends in the development of investment processes in the world and Uzbekistan, as well as institutional factors for activating investment processes that will increase the influx of FDI into the national economy.
